Home?

I'm back in Copenhagen, where everything is familiar and I don't understand a word. :)

Was up at 3am to get a taxi to Victoria Coach Station, then a bus from there to Stanstead airport. Arrived at the airport a bit before 5am. Checking in went quite smoothly, so I had a little time to waste. Malmo-Sturup airpot is about an hour bus ride to Copenhagen. I'm really not sure how much cheaper or better this route was. In the long run it was probably cheaper, but I did end up spending about $60 getting to and from the airport (and I had to be up at 3am). Cheaper, but maybe not significantly enough to justify the hassle.

Copenhagen was its sleepy self. I woke up at 3am in London to car traffic outside the hostel. At 11am in Copenhagen there weren't more than a handful of cars. More people walking and biking, but even those people were few in number. Half of them were tourists...you can tell because they are always looking around, staring at maps, holding a camera, etc.

I'll write about the trip when I get ambitious.

I am SO glad the 'travler' has returned.... But I am sure - very tired. I have been looking for your blogs and enjoyed ALL of them very much. Anxiously awaiting to hear all the other details tucked away in your brain. Can't wait to see you. Love, Gram & Gramps

I'm certain that you will be going through "travel withdrawal" for a while. It is nice to get "home" to familair territory, isn't it?
I've greatly appreciated your many blog posts but I understand that you'll need to relax a bit and get back into the routine of school. For me there is no rush for the details. I'm just happy that you are safely back Copenhagen. :)
Hope that you are still exporing having a summer internship someplace - would look good on your resume when applying for jobs. :)
Say did you ever receive a "care" package from Arizona?
Love,
S

I am sure you have had some wonderful experiences traveling.:) Don't hurry to let us know. Relax and get back in the 'groove' of school. I went back today and UGH!!
So the weatherman is saying snow tomorrow 2-5", but in someplaces 'out west' they could get more. Can hardly believe this.
I want warmer weather, but the kids go NUTS then. Maybe colder is better.
Anyway take it easy and write when YOU HAVE SOME TIME!
Glad you are back safe and sound.
Love,
Carol

Okay now you are back "home" and rested in Copenhagen. Time to get writing on the blog so those of us without an interesting life can have some travel experience through you. Love Dad

Oh father. So demanding. You missed the world's craziest easter church service here. That paster is strange. Dad tried to get me to sing in the choir which practiced at 5 am!! Don't worry- I held strong. :) Glad to hear that you are back in Denmark and all is good. Hope you have tons and tons of pictures and stories and advice for your sister traveling abroad next year. :) Don't forget our birthday coming up......

Miss you,
Sister
